Way better....but missing the basics. It doesn't seem to be used very much, maybe they could switch?

Would be nice to use newer software so things like the listing of specs is mandatory, and the list of offensive words is editable. Not to mention using the degree symbol without triggering a moderator review would be nice.

It looks as if they have more control over what information is displayed on the home page.

Having the ability to notify > INFORMATION REQUIRED WHEN POSTING A QUESTION  would save a lot of time and frustration.

Laptops

Crossfire

Display/eyefinity

Processors

Drivers and software (Desktop)

Graphics

Linux

FirePro

I've always liked how ASUS' ROG forums worked, specs required upon registration, and able to be displayed at a click in any thread they post.

YUP...would be a big help. But even posting it in plain view would help.

so far phpBB has managed to survive as open source for much longer than any commercial offering has ever done

it can even be integrated into wordpress if desired
