I have a short post here. Radeon Crimson driver had feature in Wattman that allowed to mark a P-State as maximum or minimum. I didn't use "Set as minimum state" but I did use "Set as maximum state". But maybe other people used this option in different way.
The problem is this feature is no longer available in Adrenaline driver. I know I can still just manually put the same frequency/voltage values from the lower state to all subsequent higher states, so gpu will continue to change P-States in all range, but will not change its actual frequency/voltage since achieving desired P-State. But I think it's quite inconvenient and strange way.
So, why have you removed setting min/max P-State feature, is it considered completely useless or is it going to be added in future releases?
