atiadlxx.dll is either not designed to run on windows or it contains error

I got this error from Radeon Settings - bad image:

atiadlxx.dll is either not designed to run on windows or it contains error. Try to installing the program again....

I cannot install it - I get the same error.

How can I fix this error?

Probably related to video drivers.

Please reinstall latest video drivers and check the results.

Have the same problem. I just did a reset of windows 10 and am trying to download the drivers for my video cards but I can't. Keep getting this error. It gives same error for trying to download the auto detect or if I try to download manually from link.

       AMD R9 280x crossfire

  • Desktop or Laptop System

       Desktop

  • Operating System

      Windows 10 64bit

     Driver version installed

     Whatever default windows 10 put on it.

  • Display Devices
  • Motherboard + Bios Revision

       Gigabyte z97x gaming 7

  • CPU/APU

         i5-4670k

  • Power Supply Unit  Make, Model & Wattage

     Super Flower 1000

  • RAM

         8 GB

I fixed it myself.

Ran DDU, did the clean, then it worked okay.
