PC Not Posting With FX8320E Black Edition.

I have a FX 8320E Black edition. I cannot get this to post. I used a procedure recommended on this forum on 2 different Mobos without success. Step 1 Reset bios by removing battery for at least 5 seconds. connect cpu, psu , and mobo speaker. did this on 2 separate boards with no beeps. so I am assuming it is the cpu. How do I get an RMA for getting a refund or replacement? Or how can I get to talk to someone about this? Bought in September of 2017 thru Amazon. I have the order info. Miffed I can't find phone support. Please help.

You have to also move the Clear RTC jumper from normal to clear after removing the battery.

Thanks for the response. I have a M5A97 r2.0 asus. And also a 970A-G 3.1

asrock. Neither board would post. Both are new just unboxed.

The Asus M5A97 r2.0 requires at least BIOS 2501 or later to support the FX-8320E.

Do you know if the BIOS has been updated?

Thanks again for the response. I was on a support call with Asus about this

problem. We tired to install the most current bios update using the usb

bios. But again nothing happened when computer was powered on. I tried a

breadboard boot with both mobos, cpu, psu, and no memory. No bleeping

beeps.

I don't have the specifics of the update but she assured me it was the most

current. Never had this happen before pretty straight forward basic build.

I worked for about 3 weeks. Have battery backup all the protection. One

day nothing.

Thanks again for your time.

Out of curiosity, what motherboard and BIOS version are you using?
