you have to go to MSI's motherboard forum and dig around and find the latest beta bios for your motherboard.. They just released revised bios' ones today, dont know what changes were made...
Here is a link to your motherboards beta bios..AM4 Release and BETA BIOS thread (UPDATE : 7-24-2017)
. If you've never updated a bios, or even if you have before, you need to find the MSI updated instructions on how to update your bios..
i've a similar problem, but my corsair is rated to work at 3200Mhz, check the config in my thread ryzen 1700x & 3200 Corsair CMK16GX4M2B3200C16 not working
In my case i've to setup DDR config by hand on bios, i suppose you must to do the same thing, another thing you must upgrade the bios with the last agesa code (if you don't done yet) and check if works correctly.
To verify the config you must test the pc in heavy load, infact my config work at 3200 but when i go to work the system being unstable and sometime on Windows i recive blue screen and on linux i got a freeze
I've also read that the memory will only run at 2133 when using all four dimm slots, this may have changed with the bios updates.. Try taking two sticks out of the correct slots to run in dual channel.. When you go to boot up go into the bios and turn on the xamp and choose profile one.
I'm running the latest beta bios and gskill 3200mhz (16-16-16-36) memory at 3200mhz and it worked first try..
rgb and 3000mhz both working against you.. both dont run well. and 32 gigs even worse on those. i recommend returning for ram that works better.. i have tried the rgb's 16gb no luck. amd and intel both have issues with those. especially if you run the 2 apps for color. even worse.. try 16 gb at 2666mhz may run stable maybe
Heh, have so close problem. Ryzen 5 1600 asrock a320m-hdv and memory Corsair cmk16gx4m1b3000c15 (16 gb), it doesn't want to use all its frequency, no more than 1446,while i suppoused to have 3000mhz...Latetst drivers for motherboard are installed, if i am trying to set frequency to 3000mhz in BIOS by my own it's simply relaunches and sets to 1060mhz.
