Long story short:
1) Download and install latest notepad++ 32 bit
2) Download compare plugin (for some reason, newer versions don't trigger this behavior anymore)
3) Drop it in notepad++/plugins folder
4) Open the two files in the attached archive
5) Plugin > Compare (make sure navigation bar is checked)
6) Watch the world burn.
Or at least under latest 17.2.1 and Windows 7 64 bit.
