I have a problem after upgrade my graphic driver to crimson 16.9.2 i dont know how to set my dual graphic on anymore. my laptop is ASUS x555dg-fx8800p graphic Radeon R7 and Radeon™ R8 M350DX. is crimson does not support dual graphic?
Dual Graphics toggle is now called AMD CrossFire and found under Radeon Settings > Gaming > Global Settings.
To configure an application to use the discrete GPU you need to open Radeon Settings > Preferences > Additional Settings.
In CCC Slim, navigate to Switchable Graphics Application Settings. This area will allow you to select which 3D application uses the Integrated GPU or the High Performance GPU. Add the application to CCC and select High Performance Mode to ensure that the High Performance GPU is used. Note, it is recommend to have the laptop plugged in and Windows configured to High performance mode in the Control Panel > Power options to ensure you get the best possible performance.
I think its different between amd crossfire (AMD CrossFire: CrossFire is the AMD brand name for multiple GPU configurations.) and amd dual graphic (AMD Dual Graphics: This technology refers to the combination of the graphics processor on the APU and a single discrete graphics card working together in CrossFire. A discrete graphics card is a standalone graphics card connected to the PCIe slot on the motherboard.)
correct me if i'm wrong. thanks for your help.
is crossfire means dual graphic?
in my catalyst driver (before upgrade to crimson) i can find "performance" menu that allow me to set my dual graphic, but for switchable graphic setting is on "power" menu, so its different.
thanks for helping
Does AMD provide any control centre software to enable crossfire option and to monitor performance?
