I purchased an MSI R7 240 video card as the AMD website has a 32 bit Win XP driver for the R7 200 series Radeon processors.  Driver won't work.  Why not?

So, when I insert the driver DVD for this MSI Radeon R7 240 under Win XP the driver install dialog comes up but nothing happens when I click Install.  So, I downloaded the 32bit Win XP display driver for the R7 200 series graphics chips (which I assumed would include the R7 240) from the AMD website.  The Catalyst driver seems to load successfully but after the install  is complete I am not directed to re-boot the computer.  When I re-boot it manually the Catalyst driver has not successfully installed as I still get "found new hardware" dialogs from XP.  Any help would be appreciated.
