Driver for both Radeon HD 6670 and Radeon HD 4350

Hello, I've been struggling for the past week to set up my computer with two monitors.

I'm currently using a Radeon HD 6670 as my main video card, and want to use a Radeon HD 4350 as my second. Uninstalling the drivers for my main video card and then installing the Radeon HD 4350 drivers, seems to do the trick, as both monitors start working right away. Thing is, the 6670 is using the default Microsoft driver and it's not allowing me to go past 1024x768 resolution. Installing the Radeon HD 6670 driver, after the Radeon HD 4350 makes both video cards and monitors to work, until the first time I restart my computer. Upon restarting, in device manager the 4350 encounters error 43, and the monitor is not starting up.

From what I've been able to find out on the internet, I need a driver that supports both the Radeon HD 6670 and the Radeon HD 4350, but I have been unable to find one.
Also, it seems there's a way to force devices to use a particular driver, but I have not been able to find a proper guide.

My question is: Are there any such drivers out there? As forcing a driver on a device would work only until the next windows installation.

You didn't say which model of monitor exactly it is since the HH181A is DVI, you only said it was a HH181 model previously.

Go with the driver range I already mentioned if you are wanting to use both cards together rather than using adapters, you have over two years of drivers to pick from 2011 to 2013 from the dates I previously mentioned.

Firstly I would have to ask why you would want to use both? If it is to run one monitor per graphics card that is not needed as both can be run off of one GPU.

The last drivers to support the 4xxx cards is version 13.9 which are from 10/15/2013, support for 6xxx cards ended with the 15.7.1 drivers. The 6670 was introduced in April 2011 so any of the drivers from mid 2011 to prior to 10/15/2013 should work provided you are using an OS that both cards support.

I am currently owning only VGA/DVI monitors and an upgrade to an HDMI or Display Port one is not in the near future as the current state of my finances is not that great.

The aforementioned monitors are a LG Flatron W1946 which I intend to use as a main monitor and the second one is a Hanns G HH-181 which I intend to use as the second one. Given the fact that the Radeon HD 6670 only has a DVI connector, I can't use the second monitor. As you said, I can use the Radeon HD 4350 for both of the monitors, but it's performance in anything graphics or video related is very bad. I'm gaming, watching streams and videos on the current setup, but I also develop C# and PostgreSQL applications, hence the need for the second monitor.

The LG Flatron W1946 is VGA. The Hanns G HH-181 Monitor has a DVI port. the 6670 has both a DVI and VGA port so there is no need for a 2nd card.

You can use a HDMI to DVI cable and DVI to VGA adapter as long as the port is DVI-I not DVI-D. If you want you can even go Displayport to DVI or Displayport to VGA via an adapter as another option.

Thanks to amdpete, I have managed to find a solution to my issue without spending any extra money. It's somewhat of a workaround, but it's working. It seems that installing catalyst 13.4 for the Radeon HD 4350, with the 8.970.100.0 driver and then grabbing the Radeon HD 6670 driver off windows update, I can have both monitors working at the same time. As with all workarounds there's a thing that's not working, and that is the catalyst itself, crashing at every startup. Anyways, at the moment I have both the Radeon HD 6670 and the Radeon HD 4350 running at the same time, with different drivers for each. As a side note, with the current state of things, I can't adjust the clocks on any of the video cards through the catalyst.

Off-topic, I can confirm that with the aforementioned setup but with a Radeon HD 3600 instead of Radeon HD 4350, you can do the same thing. I suppose that this also works with any combination of Radeon HD 6xxx and Radeon HD 2xxx, Radeon HD 3xxx or Radeon HD 4xxx, since since all of the older cards run perfectly fine with the 8.970.100.0 driver.
