Driver/Software Update Resulted in Older Driver Install and No Software for Tweaking Games...What's Wrong?

Today I received an AMD message that a newer version of my gpu driver was available.  So I went through the prompts to update the driver.  However, the driver that got installed was not 16.2, but 15.301.  The bad part is that I lost all the software programs I use to tweak my gpu for gaming such as the AMD Crimson Settings.  Its no longer on START.  A search does not turn it up.  Nor does looking for it in the AMD folders.  I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling 3 times already with the same results.  I unintalled and then deleted all of the AMD folders, then reinstalled with the same results.

I am using Win 8.1 64bit.  My gpu is Radeon R9 380.
