Hello,
I downloaded GPU PerfStudio 3 but it doesn't work for DX 9 or 10
How to get a former version working with DX 9 or 10 (v <= 2.4 from AMD site) ?
It is impossible to find working links (old links like
http://developer.amd.com/Downloads/GPUPerfStudio2.2.zip
don't work)
Thanks.

Since this has come up twice in short order, we've decided to leave this old version of GPUPerfStudio available (clearly marked as unsupported and deprecated) on the website, on the archive page for this tool. http://developer.amd.com/tools-and-sdks/graphics-development/gpu-perfstudio/gpu-perfstudio-previous-...
Hi,
DirectX 9 & 10 are no longer supported by GPU PerfStudio. You may be able to find older versions of GPU PerfStudio on the internet but these versions are no longer supported by AMD.
Thanks,
Tony.
I know that,,. but I don't understand why all old versions have been removed.
I found some links in old threads on various forums, but NONE work now, HTTP or FTP links.
We remove deprecated software and tools we no longer support, just as a matter of good practice.
What version do you need? No promises, but I might be able to dig it up.
From http://developer.amd.com/gpu-perfstudio-previous-versions/ , I'm looking for versions <= 2.14 (because I read "Support for DX10 and DX10.1 has been removed" for 2.15 version)
I will send a message with instructions on where to get version 2.14.
This version is not tested with newer drivers or GPUs, and there is a fair chance it may not work. Since it is deprecated, we can't support it if you run into problems.
Many thanks for your answer !
I could make some tests with the 2.14 version with D3D10.
(I got some crashes/freezes, but it is because of limitations of my old configuration)
Thanks for the update. I'm glad we were able to provide you what you needed.
I'll remove it from the download location so someone doesn't stumble on it by accident.
I find myself in exactly the same boat, maintaining a legacy application 🙂 I don't suppose you could pass on the location to another person.
Let me go dig it up As long as you know it's unsupported, and compatibility with drivers and other parts of the environment is uncertain at this point. I'll message you when I've got something.
