On Kaveri, profiling using the CPU performance counters just gives an error dialog box: "CPU Profiling Error. Unable to find the event file:"

Workaround: in folder AMD\CodeXL\Data\Events, copy 0x15_0x1.xml to 0x15_0x3.xml. Might miss out on new Steamroller events, but works.

Hi Chris,

CodeXL 1.3v was released prior to Kaveri public BKDG.

Hence, event files were not present.

CodeXL 1.4v  will have support enabled for "Kaveri".
