I'm a software engineer working on a popular PC MMO game title. We are considering an update to our product to take advantage of amd_ags.dll (AMD GPU Services Library) and remove our references to atimpgud.dll (CrossFire Detect, deprecated by AMD).
After evaluating the amd_ags.dll, I discovered that the file does not have an AMD Digital Signature. As a consequence, deploying this new library to our players could trigger false-positive alerts in their antivirus products and consequently cause the file to be proactively placed in quarantine. Such action would result in degraded experience or crashes for our players.
Can there be an updated version of AMD GPU Services Library that includes an AMD Digital Signature?
