Could not debug kernel issue - gDEBugger 6.2

Issue:

I have upgraded to gDEBugger_6.2 and AMD_Catalyst_12.11

And now I have the following error when I try and use gDEBugger with the example project AMDTTeapot

"Could not debug kernel.

This kernel use unsupported features.

Please check the release notes for more details."

My setup is:

AMD A8-3870 APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics

Windows 7, 64 bit

AMD APP SDK Developer 2.7.923.1

AMD APP SDK RunTime 10.0.1016.4

AMD_Catalyst_12.11_Beta8

Get the same issue with

gDEBugger_6.2_64

and

AMDCodeXL-0.94.2123-x64.msi

Any ideas ?

Hi,

Upgrading to Catalyst 12.11 beta and replacing gDEBugger with CodeXL 1.0 should solve your problem.

gDEBugger was superseded by CodeXL which is freely available for both Windows and Linux here http://developer.amd.com/tools/heterogeneous-computing/codexl/

Thank you dorono..  I reinstalled my driver as 12.8 and SDKv2.7 (64) > Now the gDebuggerv6.2 (64) is working for me...

Thank You..
