What happened to xcode after Catalyst 12.8?

I can't seem to find the link under optional downloads for xcode after Catalyst 12.8.  Did something change that I haven't read yet?  If so, what's exactly different?  Is it now built into the Catalyst driver or completely abandoned for whatever reason.  Anyways, curious and would like to know.  Thanks!

I know it's been a long time since you posted this!  Regardless...

According to AMD support, as of Catalyst 12.8:

it was decided that the AVT/AVIVO/Media Codecs/XCode/whatever other names given to it would be discontinued... due to the idea that we can focus on drivers and our software
