Hello all.
I have a new pc with Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit
when every time I start it, it runs c:\WINDOWS\system32\cmd.exe pop-up. It runs for a moment and then closes, without any visible text within the window.
I read it's an AMD Accelerated Video Transcoding device initialization issue (http://forums.techguy.org/general-security/1053342-cmd-exe-concerns.html)
If I run msconfig and look in the startup tab, there is Cmd.exe /c start "AMD Accelerated Video Transcoding device initialization" /min "C:\Program Files (x86)\AMD AVT\bin\kdbsync.exe" aml
If I uncheck it, there isn't any pop-up, so this AMD program is the problem, but boot becomes slower: from the blue screen to the desktop I have to wait 10 seconds with black screen.....with AMD accelerated video transcoding checked I see the desktop immediately after blue screen. So I prefer use this program. Question (curiosity): is it normal? Does AMD accelerated video transcoding decreases boot time?
But with this program I've always pop-up c:\WINDOWS\system32\cmd.exe: second question: how can I stop this pop-up on startup? I have to wait for new drivers?
Any reply would be appreciated.
Thanks
Vittorio.
