I have HD 4870 on my system. Here are two screenshots:

Is it possible to increase the memory available for OpenCL to 1 GB? Thank you.

P.S. I've looked some other discussions on this, and now I see I'm not the first one to ask the question. The problem is more or less clear to me.

All GPU's based on the RV7XX series of chips will not get any improvements from their current state due to hardware issues.

To Wenju: No problem at all. The point is that I myself have already done that before you, so you didn't do anything wrong actually.

To all: Who has the right to mark the question as answered? What should I do to express my viewpoint on the answers - and, in this case, close the question?

P.S. Oh, I see now: it's sufficient to mark someone's answer as Helpful or Correct.
