OpenCL 1.2 comes with the 'CL_KHR_d3d11_sharing' which is basically the same as the d3d10 extension just for DX11. However, I can't find whether it's going to be supported on AMD anytime soon. I guess this doesn't have to be folded into OpenCL 1.2 support, but can be just added to the driver at any time. Using a HD 5870 with the latest preview, I don't see it in the list of supported extensions however. Right now, that's one of the main reasons I'm developing on an NVIDIA card as those have the 'cl_nv_d3d11_sharing' extension which is equivalent to the KHR variant.
Is this extension coming? I guess there might be some other release notes which mention it, but I couldn't find any so far.
