After the installation of the new SDK on Win7 64bits, I receive this compilation error :
"Internal error: clc compiler invocation failed."
Can you advice please ?
This will be due to the fact that you are using Catalyst 11.11. SDK 2.6 has only been tested with catalyst 11.12 which hasn't been released yet( should be anytime now)

I just upgraded to the latest driver and SDK this evening and there were no problems so you should good once you update to 11.12.

I want to (for now) run OpenCL on the CPU only !!!
So, I don't need any Catalyst driver because I don't have (on this machine) an ATI GPU !
I would like to use SDK 2.6 on a CPU !

viewon01 unless you want to learn you should not use opencl on a single computer without gpu(s).
Please wait for SDK2.6 to be launched officially.
