The AMD site reports that the Catalyst Software Suite v11.8 was posted 8/17/2011. The "AMD VISION Engine Control Center," "Information," "Software Update" dialog for AMD Catalyst 11.7 includes a "Check for updates now..." button. The tool reports that the current version is up to date. This was tested on 8/19/2011.
