Prevent windows from using OpenCL GPU

(multi-gpu installation)

We have a system with a Redwood and a Cypress card installed and we would like to use the Redwood for display purposes and the Cypress as a pure OpenCL device. But how can we achieve that in Windows 7?

It seems we cannot avoid having our desktop extended or duplicated onto the Cypress card. If we disable the Cypress card in CCC, OpenCL cannot find it.

Any suggestions?

galmok,
You can use a dummy plug in the cypress if it has a VGA port as mentioned in this forum.

Does a Cypress exist that has a VGA port? Didn't know that... 😛

Or is a DVI->VGA dongle enough?

We already use a dummy plug to have the card come alive, but when it is alive, Windows likes to use it as a desktop. This uses memory/resources on the card which we would like to prevent.
