Ok...so, i'm doing some opencl processing. When i have two 9570 plugged into the board everything is ok. I can run jobs on both GPU on both cards. However, once i add a third 5970 i cannot even start x.
doing 'aticonfig --lsa' properly shows 6 GPU.
'aticonfig --initial --adapter=all' properly generates xorg.conf
'more /var/log/Xorg.0.log | grep EE' shows the following:
(EE) fglrx(4): Failed to initialize CMMQS driver
(EE) fglrx(4): XMM failed to open CMMQS connection
(EE) fglrx(5): Failed to initialize CMMQS driver
(EE) fglrx(5): XMM failed to open CMMQS connection
there are also some warnings about not being able to initialize DRI on fglrx(4) and fglrx(5)
i'm running 10.10 driver. i've tried on both an AMD and Intel motherboard with same results (4 GPU running fine, 6 no good). Running Ubuntu 10.04 minimal install 32-bit.
