New CAL_TARGET_IDs ?

New AMD GPUs = New CAT_TARGET_IDs ?

Hi,

I bought an AMD Radeon HD 6850 based card but most tools couldnt detect the CAL-device.

Calling "calDeviceGetInfo" resulting a CALdeviceinfo.target of 17 ?!

But a target of 17 isnt (yet) defined - the last one was CAL_TARGET_CEDAR with 11

So what are the ASIC/GPUs behind 12 to 17 or even higher?

AMD should update the StreamSDK - opencl got problems too

This card will be supported in the upcoming StreamSDK release.

Based on the SDK 2.3 some more Target IDs are "identifyed" - and based on the leaked Infos there some more too -  but there are 2 more missing

12 - "Sumo" - the Llano APU

13 - "SuperSumo" - unknown APU ?

14 - "Wrestler" - the APU inside Bobcat

15 - "NI Cayman"

16 - unknown Device with Double Prec. Support

17 - "NI Barts"

18 - "NI Turks"

19 - "NI Caicos"

So what are Target ID 13 and 16 ?

13 could be a Bulldozer APU (for 2nd Bulldozer Gen)

16 could be the "NI Antilles" because its the only new (missing) device with DP-Support after Cayman

But the OpenCL API is sill detecting Buzzard instead of "NI Barts" ???
