Hello
I have CPU Intel Celeron 336 with MMX, SSE, SSE2, SSE3, EM64T instruction. Windows XP SP3 x86. ATI Stream SDK 2.2. As I have read it must be sufficient for OpenCL to work.
"C:\Program Files\ATI Stream\bin\x86\CLInfo.exe" work fine (see attached code).
But "C\Program Files\ATI Stream\samples\opencl\bin\x86\HelloCL.exe" and other samples return an error:
stdout: HelloCL!
stdout: Getting Platform Information
stderr: Platform::get() failed (-1001)

uelkfr,
Have you done custom installation or express intallation?
In default case the samples are stored in \\My Documents\ATI Stream\samples\opencl.
Have you done some changes to the sample?
Yes, I have done custom installation, not in new windows style, but in old win98 style
Only works following executables:
bin\x86\CLInfo.exe
samples\opencl\bin\x86\Template.exe
I haven't done any changes, I havent installed Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Express yet
uelkfr,
I think you are not using the device selection parameter while running the samples.As such you do not have GPU and most samples run on GPU by default. Use --device CPU with the sample name while running in command line.
use --help for more info.
