Catalyst 10.8 with Stream SDK 2.2?

Hi.

Now that Catalyst 10.8 is out, shall we use this with Stream SDK 2.2 or stick with 10.7b?

Also, will there be patches for SDK 2.2 to fix problems that users address in the forums? Or do we need to wait 3 months for 2.3?

Kind regards.

Still no OpenCL.dll embedded in the drivers....???

Are you waiting to the Cat 11.0?

SDK2.2 can be used with 10.8 without any issue.

No patches for SDK till SDK2.3.

Nice, thanks.

Do the 10.8 support OpenCL 1.1+1.0 and SCII AA?

Starcaft 2 anti-aliasing patch.

I ask that because if I can use the 10.8 to both develop and play Starcraft would be amazing

graphic cards switchable with an integrated intel are still not supported... why is it taking so long? I'm still unable to use my laptop to debug opencl...

Cenit,
Are you asking why we aren't able to run on a intel graphics? Or that the ATI discrete card is not working if there is an integrated graphics card in the laptop?

I would assume he is referring to the fact that the catalyst drivers do not support notebooks using Intel switchable graphics, but I don't want to put words in his mouth.

Regardless, I too hope to see such laptops (which frankly seems to be the vast majority of laptops with good graphics cards from AMD) support OpenCL through the normal catalyst releases. Relying on the OEMs for such driver support is pretty hopeless in my experience.
