Agree!
The Render Monkey is very useful tool but it wasn't updated since 12/2008...
According to my modest opinion the following features should be added:
1. Direct Editing of FX files with full support of DX annotations (Not only for export).
2. DX10, DX10.1 and DX11 support new shaders (the Pip-line stages Geometry, Hull, Domain
3. the Pass stage should reflect the FX meaning of this term and not different geometry rendering or/and RT redirecting.
I'll be happy to get a response from some one from ATI tool developer team...
