Using OpenCL remotely for multiple users
Hello Everyone,
I have a question regarding remote OpenCL usage for multiple users. Is it possible to allow multiple users to run OpenCL remotely?
I ask this because while running Xserver on the system's console under one user that user can access the GPUs remotely. We have done the OpenCL remote steps as in the application note.
However when another user tries to run CIinfo file in the SDK, He cannot see the GPUs, which makes sense because he doesnt have an Xserver running.
[pmistry@compute-0-10 x86_64]$ ./CLInfo
Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server
Xlib: Invalid MIT-MAGIC-COOKIE-1 key
(Only CPU is shown)
(X server running for another user on server KVM switch)
Does anyone know of a work-around for this. The AMD GPUs are part of a cluster and we need to have multiple users accessing the GPUs at different times ?
