Direct3D 10 performance counters?

D3D has quite a few interesting performance counters, however it looks from the result of CheckCounterInfo (on a Radeon 5750) that they're not supported. Any drive that supports them or another way to enable this feature?

The performance counters were made an optional part of DX10 and DX11 and neither AMD nor NVidia fully support them. AMD's GPU PerfStudio 2.0 has a built in profiler that supports a much larger set of performance counters. You can download it from here: http://developer.amd.com/gpu/PerfStudio/Pages/default.aspx

I tried to enable those counters by running the batch file and using the "--enable-dx10-counters" command line argument. Neither of them works. Any idea?

Which hardware do you have (device ID)? ATI Radeon HD 2000 series and newer should be supported. Once I have the device ID I can investigate further.
