I am using ubuntu9.04 along with gcc4.4.2

I am encountering a problem that  although my sample program builds fine after which a debug folder is created (that cotains object file,kernel file and an executable file),  I am not able to run the executable file..when i run the executable file it does nothing....

         are you able to run any sample?  debug and see why it is doing nothing.

now it is working,

actually i was giving wrong commands due to which it didnt do anything...
