Disagreeing messages

I'm getting conflicting messages from getBuildInfo() and build().  Build is returning error message CL_BUILD_PROGRAM_ERROR, but getBuildInfo<CL_PROGRAM_BUILD_LOG> only shows a minor warning:

/tmp/OCL5IbHhj.cl(10): warning: null (zero) character in input line ignored

Any help would be much appreciated.

Could you post the source code?

Thanks for the concern.  Turned out to be linked to old libOpenCL.so . Fixed now.
