I am new to AMD Stream. Please pardon my ignorance.

I know that certain CUDA cards allow the device code to access the host memory, given the memory segment is pinned and mapped to the device memory space. I was wondering if AMD Stream also has a similar feature.

This is possible if you use the extensions calResCreate1D and calResCreate2D. This pins the memory to an area of host memory that the GPU can access.
