Meet the world’s first, dual-GPU card built to tackle professional design workloads. With the power of two “Polaris” GPUs, the Radeon Pro Duo can use both to accelerate a single workflow, or run individual workflows on each GPU. Earlier this year, we demoed these two scenarios at NAB, the world’s largest annual convention encompassing the convergence of media, entertainment and technology, where attendees had a chance to see the Radeon Pro Duo in action. Colin Travers, a freelance colorist, discusses how the Radeon™ Pro Duo is an ideal solution for creative content creators working in post-production. In the video below, we see Colin taking advantage of the dual GPUs on the Radeon Pro Duo, and here’s what he had to say –

“For guys like me or smaller post shops all around the country and the world, to be able to get one card that gives me the performance of two or three at a fraction of the cost, is a no brainer.”

In this second video, AMD’s Mike Schmit, director of software engineering, showcases the Radeon Pro Duo using Radeon™ Loom, which is revolutionizing 360-degree video stitching. The demo showed one GPU being used to stitch together 360-degree video content while the 2nd GPU was used to warp the image onto a sphere so you could see it in real-time.
