Entering Preview or Rendering when GPU is activated crashes Blender immediately. CPU alone works but is super slow. Entering preview/render mode with CPU active then adding GPU doesn't crash blender but also doesn't speed up render times. Starting up Blender takes drastically longer with ProRender as opposed to without it. Startup time is at…(Show moreShow less)
When I try to access the rendered preview everything gets gray (no lights, no HDRi, no materials). But I can see everything when I do a proper render. Any ideas? Specs: iMac 27" late 2017 Radeon Pro 575 Blender 2.8
When I open the latest release of Blender 2.80 and trying to click the addon it shows me this advice-error: Traceback (most recent call last): File "/private/var/folders/d3/hhm2tsmn30v5f6q91y5xsvc40000gn/T/AppTranslocation/953225CF-9CF1-43AA-9BA0-57348CEF1785/d/blender.app/Contents/Resources/2.80/scripts/modules/addon_utils.py", line 384,…(Show moreShow less)
During the course of a CPU render, black pixels will be applied to the render in a seemingly random pattern. CPU render with i7-8700B and macOS 10.14.5 Public Beta 2 to 500 iterations. This issue occurred without the Public Beta as well. GPU renders of course work just fine. This scene is alas too large to attach, but any scene will manifest…(Show moreShow less)
These are CPU only renders, as specified. These issues have unfortunately been here since RPR 2.0.32. I am aware the noise on the second is caused by low samples/light, but that's not what I am referencing. There are small, single black pixels scattered over it. These are the problem.
We are excited to finally talk publicly about a version of Radeon ProRender that supports Blender 2.80! Blender 2.80 is has a great deal of interest from users due to its radical changes to the workflow, and we thought it was only appropriate to give the ProRender plugin the same attention. We have been working hard over the last few months…
I have setup the attached sample file to render Long Hairs (yellow) in one area and Shorter Hairs (orange) in another. This has been done using Vertex Groups and setting one Hair Particle on one group. This is the result for Final Render with RPR 2.0.52 (on one GPU because two GPUs don't work). This is the result in Cycles. The…(Show moreShow less)
I'm trying to use the shadow catcher option but it simply renders the whole object invisible, not showing the shadows. I created a very simple scene from scratch just to verify and it gives the same results.
I also experience severe issues with Shadow Catchers on macOS (RPR v2.0.52) A Shadow Catcher sample file attached - this file crashes on macOS. Shadow catcher setup (turned on for the plane): Preview render (if it will start) - simply move about in the viewport to crash Blender (I have attached Crash Report Text files): Final Render…
